Institutional strength

Ø Adequate land and building of the college.

Ø Well coordinated college staff.

Ø No case of drug abuse, ragging and molestation of girls reported yet.

Ø Adequate number of books in library.

Ø Well delivered scholarship system.

Ø Higher enrollment ratio of girls.

Institutional weakness

v College lacks facilities such as modern lab, auditorium, hostel, health care center, staff quarter etc.

v Since lack of class room for further opening of new courses/programs are postponed.

v Lack of adequate sports infrastructure.

v Lack of adequate number of teaching and nonteaching post.

v Lack of UG and PG courses.

Institutional Opportunity

ü Over95 % of students of our college are come from deprived and marginalized section of society (SC, ST, OBC, and BPL).

ü We can open job oriented courses and agriculture related courses.

ü Some students are good in Chhattisgarhi folk dance and drama so we can start new courses imparting this.

ü We can start open and distance learning courses of open universities so schools and college dropouts can take advantage of this facility.

ü Some students are having hidden talent of sports, if proper facilities are provided they can enhance their career.

ü We can prepare our students for competitive exam like PSC, UPSC, SSC, and VYAPAM.

ü We can start Post Graduate classes in streams of science, arts and commerce because there is no Post Graduate college in 15 to 25 km radius.

Institutional challenge

    Low student ratio of pass out with higher division.

    Students are not inclined towards progression to higher education owing to poor family background.

    Poor transportation facility as a result students are unwilling to stay in the college till the prescribed time limit.
